Today, I read the article “Tokyo to Yangon: Hand over Nagai’s camera”.

*content*
The government will urge Myanmar’s junta to return a video camera believed used by a slain Japanese journalist to film clashes between security forces and demonstrators in Yangon. Nagai’s camera was not among his belongings returned to Japanese authorities. However, Myanmar has claimed all of Nagai’s belongings have been returned. The Japanese Embassy in Yangon is looking into the situation, while Deputy Foreign Minister Mitoji Yabunaka, who is visiting Myanmar, was expected to “strongly request” the return of the camera during meetings with Myanmar officials. Then, Japan asked Myanmar’s deputy for a full-scale probe into Nagai’s slaying and punishment of those responsible for his death.

I don’t know well about this accident in Myanmar, but I lament that Nagai’s death. It is reported that he went the risky position on purpose, because he wanted to film and report the real condition, Myanmar people feeling. He was a brave man. I yearned for journalist ; the job for a time. However, I became to be afraid of it, because the job accompanies danger. I think Japan have the right what take the video camera that Nagai used for dear his life. I hope that the camera return to Japan and Myanmar’s dispute was finished as soon as possible.
